Festival Look-Book pt. 1

With Coachella just around the corner I thought it would be a good idea to go over different looks for festival season! Music festivals are a lot of fun and if you have never been to one I would definitely recommend going! You get to listen to a bunch of different artists and expose yourself to new music while hanging out and having fun with your friends! Another reason I love music festivals is because you get to dress up and put on a little fashion show! So many people bring their own unique style to the festival and it’s truly amazing. This post will focus on different looks for festival fashion to help give you an idea of what you can wear to a festival! Hope you enjoy! 🙂 ❤

Under the Tuscan Sun

So it is pretty cold in Canada right now and this awful weather has me feeling kind of reminiscing on better and warmer times. Obviously this led me back to my amazing trip to Italy this past summer. Our second destination was the beautiful region of Florence. Just when I thought the weather couldn’t get any hotter, I was proved wrong. Florence was absolutely stunning and the weather was beautiful. The scenery in Florence is inspiring and romantic, so I made sure I packed a lot of flowy dresses and oversized sun hats.

When In Rome Pt. 1

Hey guys so earlier this summer me and my family traveled to…..*drum roll*……ITALY!!! For those of you that don’t know I am half Korean and half Italian and so since this year was my dad’s 50th birthday we decided to celebrate as a family by taking a trip to Italy! None of us had ever been to Italy before so it was definitely super exciting and one of the most amazing trips I have ever been on! We started our trip off in Rome and we stayed there for 3 days before venturing to other parts of Italy! Overall we were in Italy for 2 weeks exactly (which somehow still wasn’t enough time!! 😦 ). Now I know packing for a European destination can seem overwhelming especially if you are traveling for a few weeks but it is definitely possible to look fashionable and chic while traveling abroad! So stay tuned and follow my fashion adventure through Europe 🙂

The Glow-Getter

Sometimes life gets hectic and busy, it can feel like you never have a free moment to yourself! On days like these I always try to find a way to relax and unwind at the end my day to keep my spirits up (and keep my mind sane! lol). One thing that I love to do at the end of a long, busy day is pamper myself! This is easy and let’s be honest who doesn’t love being pampered; it is relaxing and also simple! One of my favorite ways to pamper myself is putting on a nice soothing face mask. I love face masks, the way they make your skin feel is amazing and they always make me feel more relaxed. Recently I have discovered two face masks that I can’t get enough of! These masks are the GLAMGLOW face masks.

you [high]LIGHT up my world

A good highlighter is hard to find, but when you find one you love it can be very rewarding. One of my absolute favorite highlighters is by Becca cosmetics. I am not exaggerating when I say that this product is to die for!! After much deliberation and many reviews later I finally decided to take the plunge and splurge on the Becca highlighter from Sephora in the color Champagne Pop. This product retails for $46 CAD before tax and is a collaboration between Becca cosmetics and Jaclyn Hill. Though it is a bit pricey I would definitely say it is worth every penny and here’s why!

My Beach Essentials

April is the perfect month for a vacation! With the school year coming close to an end, nothing is better than treating yourself to a vacation after a long and exhausting semester. Vacations definitely can be expensive however, there are some vacay hotspots that are cheaper than others! One of my favourite vacation spots is the state of Florida. You can get everything you need without having to venture too far away. Also there are always plenty of vacation home rentals in Florida in many different cities! Me and my family always take a trip to Florida once every few years. We love exploring the different parts of the states and sometimes even make a road trip out of it! One of my most memorable trips to Florida was when we stayed in Naples. Usually we stay in Orlando to visit all the theme parks but this time we decided to mix things up. It was one of our most relaxing vacations. We stayed at a beautiful hotel that was right on the beach; as soon as you exited the lobby you were right in front of the pool. If you walked a bit further you could get right on the beach and one morning, we even saw dolphins jumping through the water! It was definitely a memorable trip! However, packing for a beach vacation can be difficult and so in this post I will cover my absolute beach essentials! 🙂
