Festival Look-Book pt. 1

With Coachella just around the corner I thought it would be a good idea to go over different looks for festival season! Music festivals are a lot of fun and if you have never been to one I would definitely recommend going! You get to listen to a bunch of different artists and expose yourself to new music while hanging out and having fun with your friends! Another reason I love music festivals is because you get to dress up and put on a little fashion show! So many people bring their own unique style to the festival and it’s truly amazing. This post will focus on different looks for festival fashion to help give you an idea of what you can wear to a festival! Hope you enjoy! πŸ™‚ ❀

Look #1

Top – Zara

Shorts – Levis

Hat – Guess

Sunglasses – thrifted

This look consists of a long, wide-sleeve blouse and mid-thigh denim shorts! I love wide-sleeve blouses because they give you a very boho-hippie feel and they can be paired with anything! I love this top because it is so versatile. These types of tops can be paired with any bottoms, I chose shorts, but this top can work with any other bottoms such as a cute denim skirt or flowy, summery wide-legged pants! Also they are super comfortable! It’s important to remember when you’re going to a festival that you still want to be a little comfortable since you’ll usually be outside all day! It is also important to remember that you want to wear clothes that are durable to survive all weather conditions. On this day of the festival it was pouring rain and I got soaked! But it was still a lot fun, rain or shine! A hat is also a really good thing to pack to a festival because it can help block the sun, especially when it gets really hot!

Look #2

Top – Diesel

Bralette – Urban Outfitters

Skirt – H&M

Necklace – Forever 21

For my second look I decided to go for a see-through top with a black bralette underneath! See-through tops are a great way to add a little sexiness to your outfit and I love pairing them with a cute bralette! For my bottoms I did a fringed skirt but this top is so versatile it would have looked amazing with any other bottoms as well! (such as denim cut-off shorts or a denim skirt!) I also added a little extra sparkle to this outfit with a big chunky necklace! These necklaces are great statement pieces and can really help elevate your outfit!

Well those are my first 2 looks from Osheaga last year…stay tuned for look #3 coming soon!! πŸ˜‰

Also before I go here are a few tips for festival season:

1) Pack light when going to the festival, nothing is worse than having to lug around a massive backpack or purse! Mini purses and fanny packs are super in right now and are perfect for festivals!

2) Bring a refillable water bottle! It is really important to stay hydrated throughout the day especially since it can get really hot at a festival! Most festivals will have water refill stations that allow you to fill up your water bottle! Being in a crowd of people when the sun is beating down is going to make it feel even hotter so definitely be prepared and chug as much H2O as you can!

3) If you are going with a big group of people try to set a meeting point in case any of you get separated! Since there are a lot of people on site at the festival, the cell phone reception isn’t always the greatest and it can take awhile for messages to send. Also, with the loud music and noise from the crowd it can be hard to hear someone if you are trying to call them. This is why it is important to determine a meeting place between you and your group in case any of you get separated or lost! πŸ™‚
