Hello lovelies! Sorry I haven’t posted in awhile, it has been a crazy busy week! With only a few weeks of summer left (waaaah 😦 ) I have been scrambling to finish off my summer to-do list. I always make a list of things I want to do or accomplish for the summer and every year I find myself rushing around at the last minute to get things done. So this past week I spent a lot of time crossing things off my list, catching up with friends and hanging out in the city. I have finally got my hands on a pair of Stan Smith’s and I was eager to break them in (though terrified of getting them dirty lol). The women’s Stan Smith’s have been the hardest to find especially in the smaller sizes. For those of you with small feet like me, it might be worth looking into buying these sneakers in kid’s sizes! The shoes look exactly the same and it is a great way to save a little money! Walking around in the city all day in these shoes was a breeze! To my relief, there was no pain in breaking these bad boys in and they made walking around in the city comfortable and effortless! For this outing, I decided to wear a white t-shirt dress with an oversized denim vest. Since my outfit was mostly neutrals, I added a splash of colour by carrying around an accent piece handbag. This added a pop of bright blue to my outfit, making it complete. When it is a hot summer day, it can sometimes be hard to figure out what to wear, since it is so hot you usually just want to walk around in as few layers as possible. This is why I love vests, they are perfect layering piece for summer! This sleeveless piece allows you to elevate your outfit and is a good way to beat the heat and stay cool! I kept the accessories to a minimal so the denim vest could stand alone as a statement piece. The embellished cross at the back adds an ample amount of bling to this outfit.
