So as promised, here is a follow up from previous post of Osheaga Day 1! This is the outfit I wore on the second day of the festival. For this day, I went for more of a retro/rodeo vibe. I wore a colorfully, patterned silk blouse with a suede vest and a denim skirt. Denim skirts are making a major comeback for summer and I find them easy to style and super chic! To compliment my blouse, I paired it with circular shades to complete my hippie chic look. For this outfit, I decided to keep accessories to a minimum, allowing my blouse to be the centerpiece of my outfit! When styling bold pieces, it is very important to keep other aspects of the outfit toned down to ensure that your bold piece is the star of attention. I did pair this outfit with a cute cowgirl-ish choker just to add a little dimension to my outfit. Pairing two different styles together is really easy and can elevate your outfit! By channeling both retro and cowgirl vibes, my outfit showcases a more wide range of styles. To finish off my cowgirl look, I paired this outfit with short black ankle boots and a black fringe purse. I went for black accessories to match my necklace and to compliment my suede vest, as I didn’t want to overpower the outfit with too much black or too much brown. Many people find mixing brown and black to be difficult especially when styling outfits, however all neutral colours compliment each other really well. Also an easy tip is to incorporate contrasting materials. For example: the brown vest pairs well with my black accessories because they are made from different materials and thus give the outfit different layers and textures! Let me know what you think of this outfit in the comments, I would love to hear from you guys! ❤
